I'm not usually the type to gloat when it comes to Christmas presents, but seriously, LOOK WHAT I FOUND IN MY STOCKING THIS MORNING!  No, your eyes are not deceiving you,mcgazz really did get me a set of Lego head Kitchen Scales as one of my Christmas presents.

It has taken pretty much every single reserve of strength I have in my body to not get down on one knee and propose to him. Although saying that, from the squeaks he's been emitting, I think he was pretty happy when he saw the Kraftwerk Box Set I bought for him as a token of my affection.

I hope that you're all having a truly wonderful Chrimbles readers. This is the first year I've not celebrated the festive season in the bosom of the McDermott family, and frankly, (to quote Justin Timberlake), I'm loving it. Although that might have something to do with the fact that I spent most of my morning quaffing champagne, eating scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on homemade bread and watching America's Next Top Model in my pants. Woo-ha!

Oh, and in case you're wondering what we're having for dinner - this year, Miss Cay Mansions will be feasting on Roast Red Pepper and Tomato soup with homemade bread, Roast Beef with Roast Potatoes, Sprouts with Garlic and Bacon, Braised Red Cabbage and Honey Roasted Carrots, followed by Chocolate and Cardamom Mousse with Baileys mascarpone cream. *burp*
